"As you all know, Smith has experienced extensive budget cuts, and has decided to open up a new work study position -- that of the ‘Shower Monitor.’ Shower monitors will be hired in house, as with student housekeepers, and will ensure that student showers do not exceed 15 minutes. Once a student has met their hot water limit, the shower monitor will reach into the shower and manually turn off the hot water. For $.50 a minute, students can opt to extend their shower time."
